Bucaneros

A bit of history...

Founded on September 26, 1966, they participated for the first time in the 1967 festivities. Originally, it was made up of members of the Kábilas and Marineros groups. They took their name from the pirates who besieged Spanish and English ships in the 18th century. Under the name of Bucaneros, they wanted to incorporate a new type of group rarely seen in this city.

Their costume consists of a hat with a folded brim and a red feather and ribbon, a white blouse, black trousers, boots, a belt and a leather bag. They wear a red cape on the inside and black on the outside over one shoulder and the typical medallion that characterises them hangs from their neck.

The daily outfit changes the white blouse for a yellow one, keeping the pants, boots and belt.
