The Vice-President of the Valencia Provincial Council, Natalia Enguix, ratifies the support for the decorative arches project, consolidating the strategic alliance between the Festers Society, the City Council and the provincial entity.

The Moors and Christians Festival of Ontinyent, declared of International Tourist Interest, takes a new step forward in its excellence. This year, the city's sky will once again shine with the emblematic arches of decorative lighting thanks to the official approval of the project by the Valencia Provincial Council.
This impulse has been directly confirmed by the Vice-President of the Provincial Council, who has highlighted the importance of supporting celebrations that are the heart of the capital of the Vall d'Albaida. The project is not just a matter of aesthetics, but the visible symbol of a three-way collaboration that has proven key to the success of the festival: the Society of Festers of the Santíssim Crist de l'Agonia, the Ontinyent City Council and the Provincial Council itself.
The current agreement is the continuation of shared management that has already yielded great results in previous years. The three entities have formed a common front to raise the cultural and social quality of the Setmana Gran d'Ontinyent.
It should be remembered that, thanks to this synergy, last year high-impact initiatives were able to materialize such as:

• The exhibition of the artist Dulk: A commitment to contemporary art and modernity integrated into the festive context. It was received by thousands of visitors from both national and international backgrounds, as it was the exhibition with the most original works that has been held in Europe.

• The launch of "La Gran": An inclusive and open space that allowed the creation of environments for all audiences, diversifying the leisure offer and ensuring that all citizens could enjoy the festival in safe and accessible spaces.

The Society of Festers and the City Council have thanked the support of the Valencia Provincial Council and have stressed that this type of investment allows us to continue expanding festivals that are part of the city's collective identity and that every year bring together thousands of people around music, tradition and coexistence.
