Cides
A bit of history...
Founded in 1975 when the Artur, Ron and Afonaítos clubs decided to abandon the sea and become knights and disciples of the nobleman from Burgos, Ruy Díaz de Vivar. The name Cides replaced the name Conquistadores, which was initially intended.
The clothing they wear comes from the designs of the founding member of the group Luis Delgado Rojas, who adhered to the canons of the Christian warrior and introduced some Valencian allegorical elements referring to King James I, such as the shield.
In 2007, the helmet was removed, giving way to a metal crown, and the dalmatic was modified in terms of length and sleeves, removing the tights on the legs.
