Marineros

Troupe that initiated the festivities in 1860 and that presents its name in the atmosphere of euphoria among the Spanish trio in the military campaigns of Morocco, the authentic origin of our festivities.

Durant anys was the most famous troupe and the one that had the most relevant people in the festival. There are many groups that want to found and/or form part of other groups. Both smugglers take part in smuggling in the middle of the holiday season.

Since the beginning of the gala process, it has had some changes but has always been linked to the clothing used by the Navy. In 1986 there was a change to try to return to the original clothing and in 1995 it was again to change with a more historical model and with a purely mariner background.
