Moros Espanyols
A bit of history...
It was created in 1920 by a group of Kábilas revelers. The original dress was changed to the current one in 1982, respecting the colours of the previous one. Thus they wear a white tunic with geometric motifs in brown, a brown cape and trimmings and motifs in gold, a multicoloured bag and a turban in white, green and red.
Since its origins, it has used four different models of djellaba. The current second uniform shows vertical stripes of brown, red and white.
They have maintained a close relationship with the Pobla Llarga band for many years, not without reason that in 1944 the maestro Pérez Ballester composed and dedicated the Arabic march "Moros Españoles" to them.
