After the bands, musicians and party-goers entered, they went to their respective premises depending on the group they belong to. Together they enjoyed a good dinner and are ready to start the Alardos.

We are probably faced with the act that, at least apparently, has the least to do with Moors and Christians. But, usually, everything has its reason.

In the old days, the comparsas would take advantage of the Saturdays close to the festivals to meet in the country house of one of their members - in the vicinity of the town - and eat dinner prepared by themselves. Late at night, they would burst into the streets accompanied by guitars, tambourines, pot lids and anything capable of simulating a musical instrument. They would parade wearing a straw hat, a cane in their hand and, usually, they would roll up one leg.

Over time, the hat and the cane were replaced by other items of clothing that were intended to be a costume, and today they have become a healthy competition to see who can come up with the funniest or most striking costume; thus achieving a mix between representing what is most fashionable and a critique of current issues.

This time, accompanied by their bands that will play a piece in keeping with the chosen costume, they will parade along the wide avenues of l'Almaig and Daniel Gil.
