Hispanic Heritage Month in New York City commemorates the history, culture, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. Hispanic Heritage Month in New York City is celebrated from September 15 to October 15, and various activities take place during this period, including the Hispanic Day Parade.

The Moors and Christians Festival of Ontinyent has been invited to participate in the annual events held on October 12th, Hispanic Heritage Day. Specifically, the North American organization has invited the Festival Society of the Most Holy Christ of Agony to participate in the parade that will take place along Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, between 44th and 69th Streets.
