Mora entrance

This is the most popular event. It runs along the avenues of l'Almaig and Daniel Gil, borders the Moros i Cristians roundabout, and ends in the Plaza de la Concepción. Despite the length of the route, flanked by stands and chairs, it is too small to accommodate the large number of spectators who come from all over to watch the procession.
It is the event that requires the most effort from everyone. The groups parade in their gala attire, but in addition, each one also involves one or more groups with unique costumes, made for the occasion, which gives it greater colour and exoticism, with dresses that only existed in the imagination of their designers.
Each of the two Entrances is headed by the group that holds the position of captain that year, while the event is closed by the group that holds the positions of ambassador and standard-bearer of its side.
The four groups in charge have been working for more than two years on what they are going to offer the public that day: fabrics, metals, embroidery, choreographies, musical compositions, designs, tailoring, ballets, floats, animals, makeup, weapons, water, fire (everything has a place in the Ontinyent Entrance)... and ONE HUNDRED MUSIC BANDS!
Each of the four pageants, as it progresses, tells a story; a story that captures the viewer's attention and makes them feel immersed in it.
It is a spectacle that can hardly be explained in words. You have to see it. And every year it is different.
